Man saves drowning kookaburra with mouth-to-mouth resuscitation

When this man saw a kookaburra run into his backyard pool fence and fall into the water unconscious, he knew he had to do whatever he could to save the bird.

He quickly pulled the drowned bird out of the pool and gave it CPR and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

Once he used an air pump to deliver large amounts of air into the bird's lung, the little guy came back to life and made a full recovery.

The bird can be seen flipping on to its side and flapping its wings.
