Deer rescued after falling down hole

This poor deer was found stuck deep in an underground cave.

Luckily a group of men went down and tried to rescue the animal, who appeared to have fallen.

First they had to restrain the animal, as it was far too skittish and nervous to be moved or helped.

They eventually managed to tie the deer's legs together and then place a cloth over its eyes as they hoisted it up and out of the deep cave.

When they arrived back at ground level they removed the restraints and the deer raced away into the distance.
