Could Ryanair flights be free in 10 years time?

There's plenty of talk about potential negative aspects of the advancement of technology like machines enslaving the human or global warming burning us up.

But surely there has to be some good things too, right? How about free flights?

If that was the case surely international travel would increase significantly, almost instantly.

The suggestion comes from Michael O'Leary, CEO of discount airline Ryanair, who told the Airport Operators Association in London: "I have this vision in the next five to 10 years, the air fares on Ryanair will be free."

Adding: "The challenge for us in the future is to keep driving air fares down."

But Michael O'Leary insists saying that in the next five to ten years flights could be free.

Saying it's important to keep finding ways to keep flight prices down.

How he says they could go about making money is some sort of revenue share with the airports Ryanair operates with.

Sort of an interesting comment as Ryanair is reporting record profits, usually companies begin to look for new revenue streams and not just dropping a major one.
