The study found that people who ate a Mediterranean style diet did much better on memory tests than those who ate a Western-style diet high in saturated fat and sugar.

The people who stuck to a Mediterranean style diet also had fewer Alzheimer's-related proteins in their spinal fluid.

You should also avoid sugar heavy treats and processed foods.
But it's not all boring - wine and full-fats are an important part of a Mediterranean style diet. A glass of wine a day and eat foods high in unsaturated fats, like olive oil, is all good.
