Freebie Friday: lots and lots of free beer - and some healthier options
It would appear that this is free beer week (otherwise known as Cask Ale week). We have three different ways to get your hands on some beer for nothing. Of course, once you're taken the less healthy route, you may as well have the free doughnut that's on offer. And if you choose to swerve the calorie-laden stuff, there are slightly healthier options up for grabs too - including granola and flavoured waters. It's not a bad week all round for deals.
Free Sol beer in Sizzling pubs
The users of HotUKdeals.com have discovered you can get a free bottle of Sol. All you have to do is fill out the online form (or enter with Facebook), then you'll have a free beer voucher sent to you. You can print it off or show it to staff on your smartphone.
Free pint at a Punch Tavern Pub
Members of the money saving Facebook page Latestdeals have spotted that you can get a free pint at any Punch tavern pub through Vouchercloud. All you need to do is visit the website, click on 'get code' and show it in your nearest participating pub in order to get your freebie. The deal runs until 2 October.
Free pint of Doom Bar at Brewers' Fayre
If you join the bonus club at Brewers' Fayre, you'll get a number of special offers emailed to you throughout the year - including a free main meal on your birthday. You'll also get a code emailed to you this week, which you can show in your local Brewers fair, and receive a free pint of Doom Bar.

If you've decided to throw calorie caution to the wind, then you may as well get hold of a free Krispy Kreme doughnut while you're at it. The users of HotUKdeals.com have discovered that if you download the Krispy Kreme app, you'll be given the freebie as a thank you.
Free Greggs granola bar
If you're looking for something marginally more nutritious, then Latestdeals users have spotted that you can get a free granola bar from Greggs if you download its new rewards app this week. If that's not enough to tempt you, once you have the app, every eighth coffee you buy is free and you'll get a free treat on your birthday too. Other rewards include free sausage rolls and free breakfast rolls. It's a fantastic way to save a little money if you shop at Greggs regularly.
Free 500ml 'Nuva' flavoured spring water
If you're on O2, then you're already likely to have picked up plenty of freebies through its Priority Moments app. If you're not, then it may be worth considering getting a pay-as-you go SIM purely to take advantage, because there are so many freebies available. This week it's a bottle of Cucumber & Mint, Ginger & Lemon or Melon & Jasmine water from Boots. Just pop into Boots, pick up the water, generate the code, and show it at the till. As ever, the number of bottles available is limited, so it's worth going as early as you can.
