Lifeboat falls from cruise ship: One dead, four injured

A man was killed and four injured on the world's largest cruise ship after a lifeboat fell on during a training exercise.

According to authorities, a 42-year-old man, who was a crew member from the Philippines, died after the lifeboat fell nearly 10 meters during the exercise on Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas, which was docked in Marseille, France.

The four other crew members involved in the accident are currently being treated at a hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

The Royal Caribbean Cruise company confirmed the death on its Twitter account. "We're keeping our colleagues and their families in our thoughts and prayers," the company said.
