Brexit is not affecting car sales, figures suggest

New car sales continue to rise despite fears that the economy would struggle after Britain voted to leave the European Union.

August sales showed a rise of 3.3 per cent, with sales to fleet customers up 7.7 per cent. Sales to private owners were down 0.2 per cent.
