Dog adopts litter of orphaned piglets

Meet Linda, recent mother of six puppies and now the adoptive mom to a litter of piglets after their mother died.

The dog took to feeding these orphaned animals like they were her own.

Linda's owner explains had the unique scenario came about when the mother pig died after she had given birth.

"I came up with the idea of putting them together to see if the dog would accept them.

On the first day she was a little hesitant, but it wasn't long before she started coming to feed the piglets on her own initiative.

Now Linda shares her parental duties between the piglets and her own pups and she's become something of a local attraction in the Cuban town of Playa Laga.

It just goes to show while they may be man's best friend the extent of a dog's affection knows no boundaries.
