Driver rescued from sea after returning to stranded car

A driver was swept out to sea after trying to get valuables from his stranded car.

The vehicle became trapped in an estuary on Shell Island in Gwynedd, North Wales after the driver ignored tidal warning signs while heading along the causeway to a campsite, which is cut off twice a day from the mainland.
