Kiss FM DJ and former presenter of The Xtra Factor Melvin Odoom is the fifth celebrity to be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing.
He joins Ed Balls, Will Young, Laura Whitmore and Ore Oduba who have already been announced as contestants on the 14th series of the BBC's popular dancing show, which returns to screens in September this year.
The broadcaster, 36, confirmed the news during his Kiss FM Breakfast Show on Friday.
I am proud to announce I will be a contestant on @bbcstrictly 2016!??
I might need a few new moves though.... ? pic.twitter.com/J424i7eJgW

He said: "I'm honoured to be part of Strictly 2016. I'm looking forward to learning some new moves of course... but basically it's the sequins that clinched it for me.
"I need sparkle in my life and there's nothing more sparkly than Strictly. I just hope that my dance partner isn't too tall!"
Also on his morning programme, he confessed it's "something I've wanted to do secretly for a few years now".
He also revealed that he can't wait to get stuck into the sexy Latin style of dancing, and that Ballroom will probably be tough for him at first.
"The most bit of dancing that I do is in the club. Ballroom dancing is a completely different animal. I'm looking forward to the new challenge. I think Latin is sexier."
Melvin has hosted shows for MTV, T4, Kiss and 4Music, and in 2015 co-hosted The X Factor's spin-off programme on ITV2 alongside Rochelle Humes.
He recently made his primetime debut as a presenter fronting ITV's Saturday night gameshow Bang on the Money, and he also hosted backstage at the Brit Awards alongside fellow Strictly contestant Whitmore.
