Young Manchester United winger Jesse Lingard has provided an early contender for "worst promotional idea involving a footballer of the year award".
Okay, that award doesn't exist - but once you watch this video of the 23-year-old's "Dab University" you'll will wish there was one. It's a cringefest.
Lingard has been one of the few footballers around the world who has used the Dab dance *craze* to celebrate his goals - with the most high profile of them, Paul Pogba, apparently about to sign for United.
We're not sure if Pogba will also be signing up for Lingard's "Dab University" but if he does, he clearly won't have watched the video in which Lingard teaches team-mates Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Timothy Fosu-Mensah how to perfect the dance in a three-step process.
Borthwick-Jackson could not appear less enthused that Lingard selected him to *graduate* from Dab University - with an A+ - and it's fair to say Twitter was even less enthusiastic about the promotion, in conjunction with United's shirt sponsor Chevrolet.

The request at the end of the video for people to send in their Dabs has been met with sarcastic responses.

Yeah, the Dab University isn't going to last too long.
