Chemicals tycoon Jim Ratcliffe plans Defender revival

Updated

Jim Ratcliffe, the chemicals magnate and chairman of the Ineos chemical company, is reportedly planning to reinvigorate the Land Rover Defender, almost six months after the last model rolled off the production line.

The legendary Defender had been in production for 67-years, before it was taken out of circulation by Jaguar Land Rover at the start of 2016, due to the model not being able to keep up with modern emission regulations.
