We all know that feeling when a crisp craving comes along... And one cheeky seagull even had to be chased out of a shop while trying to steal a packet of Golden Wonder BBQ Saucers.

A shopkeeper in Aberdeen, called Zaman Iqbal, captured the moment on camera when he had to literally give chase when a seagull tried to steal his snacks, reports the BBC.

Zaman Iqbal said the birds show no fear, and hang around his 24-hour Sweet News shop on the city's Crown Street waiting to grab an opportunity to swoop in on a munchie-stealing mission.

According to the Telegraph, Zaman said: "I've had seagulls come in trying to pinch the snacks for a while now. Some of them don't make it very far but this one managed to get hold of some crisps."

He added: "It could be the one that came here before. It must have thought the heat had died down and that security was low.

"It was sneaky but luckily I managed to chase it off. I just shouted at it and it dropped the crisps. Then I said 'Thank you'."

The Daily Mail reports that Zaman added: "It's funny but a bit of a nuisance because they distract the customers as well.

"It's happened a few times now but I know how to deal with the seagulls. You just run at them from behind and they will make their way out."
