The Legend Of Tarzan's final trailer teases more dramatic gorilla moments from the film

Alexander Skarsgard swings into action as Warner Bros release the final trailer for his upcoming action adventure The Legend Of Tarzan.

In the trailer, fans are teased with new snippets that include a little more of villain Captain Leon Rom played by Christoph Waltz and a troop of gorillas confronting Tarzan, played by Alexander, in the jungle.

The hunky 39-year-old rose to fame as vampire Eric Northman in the HBO series True Blood. Alexander has bulked up his body to play the hero created by Edgar Rice Burroughs and his ripped physique has won the Swede an army of new fans.

The Legend Of Tarzan is expected to propel Alexander to super-stardom around the globe. The film also stars Margot Robbie, Samuel L Jackson, Djimon Hounsou, Jim Broadbent and two-time Oscar winner Christoph.

As the film unfolds, it has been years since the man once known as Tarzan left Africa behind for a gentrified life as Lord Greystoke with his beloved wife, Jane (Margot) by his side.

Invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, Tarzan is unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly game of greed and revenge, masterminded by Belgian Leon Rom.

But the schemers have no idea what they are about to unleash.

Harry Potter director David Yates will helm the movie which is produced by Ocean's trilogy's Jerry Weintraub.

The Legend Of Tarzan is released in the UK on July 8.
