A sprinting ostrich has taken the internet by storm as it was spotted running down the Federal Highway in Malaysia.
The female bird can be seen racing down the right hand lane of the motorway, leading the traffic behind her.

Local news outlets claim the ostrich, named Peekaboo, escaped from her owner Darren Chow when he was driving her to the Ostrich Wonderland Farm in Semenyih.
Chow, an animal trainer, had decided to take Peekaboo back to the farm where she'd been born because she had gotten to big for him to look after.

Jeff Sandhu, who filmed the ostrich on the run, said he had visited her in her new home and she was safe and doing well.
Sandhu posted a photo of himself with the runaway ostrich on Instagram along with the caption: "I think Peekaboo deserves a really good meal... So I decided to drop by and give it some food."
The video, which was originally posted on Instagram, has had more than 43,000 views since it was uploaded four days ago.
Sandhu told the Star Online: "When I came by it, the ostrich was running from the bus stop heading towards the Federal Highway. It blocked traffic at the bus stop as cars stopped to see what was happening."
He added: "Everyone wasn't sure whether to overtake it or not so we stayed behind it."
"It was running within the speed limit, so that's OK."
