Royal Mail makes managers improved pay offer

Royal Mail has made an improved pay offer to thousands of managers who had been threatening to take industrial action.

The proposed deal is worth 1.6% from last September and a further 1.3% from this September.

The Unite union has suspended a work to rule and overtime ban while its members vote on the offer, which affects around 7,000 employees.
