Former Buckingham Palace chef reveals the Queen's favourite meal

Pate, steak and chocolate pie all feature on a specially created menu for people who want to tuck into a feast fit for a Queen this weekend.

The delicacies are among some of Her Majesty's favourites, according to a former Palace chef.

Darren McGrady has put together a number of dishes for the public to enjoy at home in the course of the Queen's birthday celebrations.

The chef, who said he cooked for a number of members of the Royal Family including the Queen, has created a menu which will be available for people to order as a takeaway.

The three course menu consists of Gleneagles pate as a starter, a choice of beef or venison steaks for the main and chocolate perfection pie for dessert.

The food is available from Friday to Sunday for delivery from Wolfe's Bar and Grill in Great Queen Street, London.

Restaurant owner Kostas Gkikas said: "We are thrilled to launch this very special menu with Just Eat and Mr McGrady to celebrate our great Queen's birthday, and allow our customers to celebrate the occasion in the regal style and eat like the Queen for a day, in their own dining rooms or at a party with their neighbours."
