Driver misjudges floodwater depth in south London and sinks

A driver in south London made a poor decision as he sped towards a flooded street in Wallington before getting stuck in the middle of the deep section of water.

While one BMW owner tentatively reverses and turns around in the face of the water, the owner of the people carrier decides instead to charge full-force into the flood. Seemingly confident in his car's ability to forge the floodwater, the driver ploughs straight into the submerged area.
