Inside The $5 Million Mansion Where The Obamas Will Live After White House

This is the first look at the mansion the Obamas will reportedly be moving into after they leave the White House.

It's an 8,000 square foot French Tudor home in the upscale Washington, DC neighborhood of Kalorama.

The home has nine bedrooms and nine bathrooms and the master bedroom even comes with two high-end marble bathrooms.

The mansion was built in 1928 and has been completely renovated and also features two kitchens and high end appliances everywhere.

There's undoubtedly lots of room, with plenty of space for Michelle's mother Marianne Robinson, presuming she continues to live with them after they leave the White House.

The $5 million mansion is owned by Bill Clinton's former Press Secretary Joe Lockhart and his wife, a magazine executive.

It's understood that the Obamas will rent the home rather than purchasing it.

The Obamas have lived in the White House since 2009 when Barack Obama assumed office as the 44th president of the United States.

John Adams was the first US president to take up official residence in the White House in 1800 and it has been the home of every president since.

The next presidential election in the US is now scheduled for 8 November this year at which point the next president of the country will take up residence in the White House.
