MPs have told Sports Direct boss Mike Ashley he has to give evidence next month on his firm's work practices.
The Business Select Committee has been trying to quiz Mr Ashley for months about working practices, including the use of zero hours contracts.
He has been refusing to appear before the committee, but in a letter he said he will travel to Westminster, but only on condition that the MPs visit the Sports Direct offices in Shirebrook, Derbyshire, the day before.
He offered to fly the MPs to Derbyshire in his helicopter.
Committee chairman Iain Wright has written to Mr Ashley saying he expects him to give evidence on June 7, and that MPs will not travel to Shirebrook in advance of the session.
