Ross Kemp has shared the first picture of his hotly-anticipated return to EastEnders... but he might not be the only Mitchell back in Albert Square.
Ross is reprising his role as Grant Mitchell for a short stint to coincide with Dame Barbara Windsor's final scenes as matriarch Peggy, who has been diagnosed with terminal breast cancer.
But a few sources with encyclopaedic knowledge of the ins and outs of Walford's romances have remembered that Grant has a secret son - so could we see him following his dad back to the Square?
Grant became a dad back in 1995 when he had an affair with Michelle Fowler, the best friend of his ex-wife Sharon.
Michelle escaped to America to make a new life, where she gave birth to son Mark Jr, named after her brother, without Grant's knowledge.
Mark Jr would now be 21 years old and there are plenty of ways he could be incorporated into the soap.
Perhaps he'll decide to meet his grandma Peggy for the first time before she dies? Or maybe he'll head back to the Square to attend the wedding of his uncle Martin Fowler to Stacey Branning?
And if a reappearance coincides with Grant, could he discover the truth about his secret son?
A show insider said: "There is so much history with the Mitchells.
"But bosses aren't giving anything away about what they have in store for them."
Let's hope the rumours are true.
