The luxury mansion that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini once shared with Ashley Cole has gone on the market. Hurtsmore House in Shakleford, Surrey, is a period property, packed with footballer/pop star glitz - and it's up for sale for an incredible £7.5 million.

The home sits in 13 acres of garden, at the end of a private drive. From the exterior it seems every inch the understated country pad. Cheryl was recently voted one of the celebrities that Brits would least like to have as a celebrity neighbour - but living round here wouldn't be too painful.

Inside, it has been somewhat glammed up, to meet the needs of any pop star or footballer.

There's endless gleaming white flooring and plenty of plush velvet - all in a palette of greys, blacks, and plenty of very shiny white.

For fans of dunking themselves in water, there's every blinged up opportunity to do so. The bathroom is a temple to relaxation, there's an enormous indoor swimming pool in a separate building in the grounds, a jacuzzi, and a terrace leading out from the master bedroom and featuring a hot tub.

For entertainment, there's a snooker room, cocktail bar, and a cinema room - as well as a gym, sauna and steam room - so there's never any need to go out.

The grounds also feature everything from a mini football pitch to a 2-hole golf course, and a tennis court to a helicopter pad.

The couple haven't lived there for years - and split up in 2010 - so there's a chance this decor reflects the tastes of the buyers who took it on from them - rather than the former power couple themselves. However, the recording studio Cheryl built in the garden remains.

But what do you think? Would you like to live here, and would you pay £7.5 million for it? Let us know in the comments.
