Tulisa Contostavlos to face court on drink-driving charge

Former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos will appear in court charged with drink-driving after allegedly crashing a Ferrari.

The 27-year-old singer is also accused of dangerous driving over the alleged incident outside Southgate Tube station in north London on September 10 last year.

She is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court.

At the time, it was reported that the star was arrested following an alleged collision between a Ferrari and a Saab shortly before midnight.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed Contostavlos, of Enfield, was charged on March 7.

He said: "A woman has been charged with driving offences following a collision on 10 September 2015 outside Southgate Underground station.

"She was bailed to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Monday 4 April."
