British tourist who died in Menorca fall 'may have been answering call of nature'
A coroner has suggested that a British tourist who died in a 30ft fall from a wall in Menorca may have been "answering the call of nature".
Kay Flitcroft, 30, from Blackpool, had fallen off a wall after a night out partying with friends in June 2014 while her husband, Ben, 34, returned to her parents' villa where they were holidaying.

She had started walking home after the night out but never made it. She was then found critically injured in a gap between a supermarket and a wall. She was airlifted to hospital but died the following day from serious head injuries.
British police had initially investigated a possible sexual assault after it emerged she was found with her underwear around her ankles and her skirt at the top of the wall. However, they found no evidence of a sexual incident.
According to the Daily Mail, recording a narrative conclusion, coroner Alan Wilson said Mrs Flitrcroft may have been trying to answer a call of nature when she fell.
He said: "This is clearly a very difficult set of circumstances. She was heavily intoxicated during the course of the evening and morning but it can't be established how she came to fall from that wall.
"Perhaps she needs to urinate and has found a quiet spot but hasn't appreciated what the drop was on the other side.
"For me to record that in the conclusion wouldn't be appropriate as it would be speculating. I do think there is a chance that might have happened."
According to the Daily Telegraph, however, after the hearing Mrs Flitcroft's brother Michael Isherwood said: "We have got a lot of unanswered questions and we will probably never know exactly what happened. We want to know whether or not she was on her own.
"I don't believe she would have been going there for a wee, to use the toilet. That's not a possibility, not if you knew her.
"She was such an amazing woman. She was awesome. She was always the centre of attention with such a warm personality."
