A video of the moment the FlyDubai plane from the UAE crashed in Russia appears to show the flight already on fire before it hit the ground at Rostov-on-Don's airport.

Russian media outlet Life News broadcast the footage from the airport's security camera, claiming the Boeing 737-800 was engulfed in flames as it plummeted to the ground.

Yahoo! reports that the plane departed Dubai and circled the airport in Russia for two hours before it crashed on its second attempt at landing.

The four children, 33 women and 18 men on board were all killed in the plane crash.

Both black boxes were retrieved and have been sent to Moscow for analysis, the Daily Mail reports.

CEO of FlyDubai, Ghaith Al Ghaith, said there were no distress calls made.

"We cannot go on speculations," he said. "This investigation will take time. Before we commit and say anything we have to be 100% sure."

The confirmed nationalities of those on board were 44 Russians, eight Ukrainians, two Indians and one Uzbekistani.

"Everyone in our company is in deep shocked. Our hearts go out to all those love ones involved," added Al Ghaith.
