Jerry Seinfeld sells 17 of 18 cars at auction

An amazing 17 of the 18 cars that Jerry Seinfeld took to auction went to new owners – with Seinfeld raking just over £15 million from the sale.

Seinfeld took the cars, which included a 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 IROC RSR and a 1960 Volkswagen Beetle, to the Gooding & Company's East Coast auction. Many of the cars sold for more than their initial estimates, while just one – a Porsche Carrera GT Prototype – failed to attract enough attention.
