Billionaire playground Macau is set to become home to the world's most luxurious hotel, which cost £1bn (that's £5 million per room) and will offers guests 24-hour butler service as well as access to a fleet of Rolls-Royce Phantoms.

The 13's smallest villa comes in at 2,000 sq ft, while the largest is 30,000 sq ft. Expected to open this summer, the first images of the hotel have been revealed and show villas with a private elevator lobby, period artworks and a Roman Bath under a crystal chandelier.

A latest venture from billionaire Stephen Hung, all-villa hotel The 13 represents "strong bespoke traditions while embracing modern elements that enhance these traditions".

Hung said: "13 is my lucky number and the new name along with the new logo fit perfectly with my vision.

"There is a hint of tradition while also suggesting a chic and fun edginess."

A video of Villa du Comte, an "entry-level" villa, shows gold doors opening before guests enter an opulent room with floor-to-ceiling baroque details and period artworks contrasted with modern furnishings.

Virtually every design detail at the hotel is bespoke and created especially for The 13, from the elaborately detailed scrollwork, to the sculptures, fabrics and Rolls-Royce Phantoms.

The one-bedroom, split-level Villa du Comte features a private elevator lobby to ensure the ultimate in privacy. Guests access their villas via elevators which open directly into the private elevator lobby, like a New York-style penthouse.

Villa du Comte guests can also enjoy the services of a 24-hour butler certified by the English Guild of Butlers, a Roman Bath for up to eight people to relax, a stained glass and marble bathroom, and a Royal Bedroom with a king-size, velvet-canopied bed, as well as the complimentary transfers to and from Macau's transport hubs in a Rolls-Royce Phantom.
