A survey from the University of Michigan asked people to rank 35 different foods by their addictiveness. And guess which foods scored the highest?

The researchers described "addictive foods" as items that cause loss of control over consumption, continued consumption despite negative consequences, and an inability to cut down despite the desire to do so.

For the study, more than 500 people were asked to rank foods in terms of their addictiveness.

No prizes for guessing that carrot, cucumbers and beans were the least addictive.

And the highest scorers? French fries, chocolate and pizza.
