Stephanie Davis declares love for Jeremy McConnell before his departure

Celebrity Big Brother contestant Stephanie Davis told Jeremy McConnell she loved him before he was evicted.

The ex-Hollyoaks actress has developed feelings for the former Mr Ireland finalist despite having boyfriend Sam Reece on the outside of the house.

Viewers have watched the pair share hugs and exchange kisses.

They even got intimate beneath the covers, although it was unclear whether they had full sexual intercourse.

The two contestants made so much noise in bed, other housemates were forced to leave the room.

"I know I'm hated because I've got a boyfriend and I've done what I've done and I know that you got angry at me most of the time because you wanted me to be honest," she told McConnell on their last night together.

"I knew for that reason I was going to be hated from that point because I'm basically a slut. But if I leave, I'll sort everything out and I'll wait for you. I love you. I really think the world of you."

In footage which will be broadcast on the Channel 5 highlights show tonight, Davis is seen to be conflicted about Reece.

"I'm just thinking how to speak to Sam. Should I text or write a letter? I've got to know what I'm going to say to him."

McConnell replied, "I think we should say we are just going to have time apart for a while."

He went on to promise her "amazing sex".

"I think we should give each other a few weeks breathing space after this experience. Then we'll see how we feel after that. We're not rushing into anything that's all I mean.

"And do you know what I'm going to do with you after that? We're going to have amazing sex."

When McConnell was announced as the sixth star to be evicted, he gave Davis his locket. She reiterated professions of love.

Devastated, the 22-year-old cried over his departure to Ex On The Beach Star Scotty T.

"I proper love him, you know. I've proper fallen for him," she said.

Meanwhile, the shopping task saw the contestants chasing a number of telephones.

All they had to do was identify the correct ringing phone and guess who was on the end of the line.

Scotty T correctly identified one caller as the father of Davis.

The troubled star broke down as she talked to him. "Have I made you proud?" she asked.

Her father told her to hold her head up high and "be proud".

"Don't forget who you are, where you've come from," he said.

"Stephanie, keep your dignity at all times. There's no secrets in that house. We're seeing everything and hearing everything."

Former EastEnders actress Danniella Westbrook, who has clashed with Davis on a number of occasions, felt McConnell's departure would make things worse.

"I've got a week of hell," she stated. "I couldn't give two f***s. She deserves it. She treated me like a mug. She deserves every boo she gets. And more. I'm done with it."

However, Westbrook attempted an apology for saying Davis would never work again, but she was rebuffed.

"I tried," she told fellow housemate Darren Day. "I told you she'd mug me off again. It's all a big show."

Big Brother told the housemates they had passed this week's shopping task and will receive a luxury shopping budget.
