Freebie Friday: treat yourself - and the family - for nothing
It's definitely time for a treat. If you're sticking to your resolutions (or Dry January) then you need a reward, and if your best intentions have gone to pot, then you need to be cheered up immediately. This week we have all kinds of ways to give yourself a boost for free - from a freebie cup of coffee to a pampering makeover for nothing.
Free kids meals
You can take the kids for a Sunday roast for free. Crown Carveries will feed one child for free with every adult roast or pub classic meal you buy. There's a free kids' meal with every paying adult - so you can feed a family of four for less than £10. You don't need a voucher, as the deal is available in all the chain's pubs.
Free chocolate
If you have an O2 phone, it's worth knowing about O2 Priority deals, which give you access to a number of cool freebies. It's not enough to sway your decision when you're weighing up networks for an expensive contract, but if you're in the market for a pay-as-you-go phone, it may make a difference. At the moment Hotel Chocolat is offering a free 50g slab through the O2 priority app, so click to claim and get down to your nearest store.

Free coffee
If you pop into your nearest department store with a Benefit counter, you can get your hands on a Starbucks coffee cup sleeve. You can then take that to Starbucks and it'll get you two hot drinks for the price of one - valid until the end of March.
Free makeover
On the flip side, if you pop into Starbucks, you can pick up a Benefit coaster, and take it to your nearest counter for a makeover - valid until the end of March. You don't have to buy anything to qualify - although you may have to resist the hard sell while they're doing your makeup.
Free foundation
Yves Saint Laurent is about to launch a new Touche Éclat foundation, so it is giving away seven-day samples at YSL counters in Debenhams, House of Fraser and Boots. The users of HotUKDeals.com say you don't need a voucher, just pop along to your nearest counter and ask for the sample.
