When Oprah speaks, she often tends to get a big reaction, but this time she has outdone herself.

The American TV presenter managed to turn a tweet about bread into $12 million. But how did she do it?

Oprah stars in a new commercial for weight loss company Weight Watchers and the video was posted on Twitter yesterday.

Plenty of Oprah's keen fans were quick to react by investing in Weight Watchers stock.

Before Oprah's tweet the stock was trading at $11.35 but within just 26 minutes the stock hit nearly $14. Overall the stock saw a 20% bump yesterday.

Now that's a good day for an average investor, but Oprah herself owns 6.4 million Weight Watchers shares and the slight increase meant that she raked in a staggering $12 million.

Considering she's worth an estimated $3 billion that $12 million is unlikely to make much of an impact, but it's still an impressive gain!

Since posting the tweet at at 9am on 26 January the video has been retweeted 650 times and liked more than 1,600 times.

So how does she do it? Oprah chooses a health-smart grainy bread, and adds a slice of tomato and avocado with either a slice of turkey or an egg.
