Driver makes lucky escape after collision with deer

A Pennsylvanian woman was lucky to escape without major injury after her vehicle collided with a deer, sending the unfortunate animal through the windscreen and into the rear seat of the car.

Rescuer Joshua Legge, the first to arrive at the scene, said: "Seeing the characteristics of how the roof and windshield looked, it was a dead giveaway that this was not going to be a normal deer versus car situation."
