Record Lotto jackpot up for grabs as rollover climbs to more than £42m

The nation's biggest Lotto jackpot could be up for grabs on Wednesday as the rollover jackpot climbs to a record estimated £42.2 million.

The winning numbers on Saturday were 58, 44, 17, 31, 21, 38 and the bonus number was 20, but nobody matched all the numbers to take home the jackpot.

A National Lottery spokeswoman said: "The Lotto jackpot is poised to break records with £42.2m waiting to be won on Wednesday. A single winner would instantly become the biggest Lotto winner the nation has ever seen."

Set of balls seven and draw machine Arthur were used on Saturday.

89 ticketholders matched five numbers to win a prize of £1,351, while 7,124 ticketholders matched four numbers to win £108 each.

168,384 ticketholders matched three numbers to win £25, and 1,613,948 people matched two numbers to win a free Lotto lucky dip.

Five people won £1million in the Millionaire Raffle, and 20 people won £20,000.

Nobody won the £350,000 top prize in the Lotto HotPicks game.

The winning Thunderball numbers were 06, 28, 35, 02, 32 and the Thunderball number was 13, but nobody won the £500,000 jackpot.
