Man wielding chainsaw falls into river (video)

Standing up in a boat on water isn't easy at the best of times, but imagine trying to do it while you're holding a chainsaw.

While trying to clear out some of the intrusive trees that hung over this river, the men shown in this footage went out on their boat with a chainsaw to go cutting.

In the middle of his branch-trimming spree, this chainsaw-wielding man lost his balance at the front of the boat and fell right into the water.

For those of a squeamish disposition, don't panic, the water doesn't suddenly turn red, the man was lucky enough to escape the incident completely unharmed and can be seen treading through the apparently shallow water to collect his belongings before clambering back onto the boat.

The men had clearly taken the water into consideration as at the beginning of the footage the man filming can be heard saying: "Not right here it'll splash, go to the left, yeh right in there."

But it seems that their health and safety check hadn't taken in the fact that boats on water wobble and people are prone to losing their balance when this happens.

The man holding the chainsaw manages to slice through two or three branches before he heads overboard.

The man behind the camera appears to be driving the boat, and just before the incident can be heard saying: "You're kinda scaring me with that saw!"

But disaster strikes when the man at the front of the boat leans forward to attack another branch at the same time the driver pulls the boat back, causing the man at the front to topple over.

It's fair to say the chainsaw wielding boater was lucky to escape the incident with all limbs intact and no major injuries!
