Figures report nationwide drop in drink drive convictions

The number of people convicted of drink-driving has seen a year-on-year drop of 7.3 per cent.

This figure represents the nation as a whole, while falls in cases were individually seen in England, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Only Wales saw an increase, with the amount of people caught drink driving up six per cent.
