Pupils taken to hospital after collapsing at North Yorkshire secondary school

Several pupils have been taken to hospital after collapsing at a secondary school.

North Yorkshire Police said emergency services were called to the Outwood Academy School on Clotherholme Road in Ripon at around 12.30pm.

A police spokesman added: "At this time, the safety of all the students and staff at the school is paramount and officers are working with the fire and ambulance services to establish what has caused the students to collapse."
