Where to find the best pre-Black Friday sales

The festive season is fast approaching, and now all the Christmasadverts have hit our screens it's time to start thinking about Christmas shopping.

Retailers both online and in store have helped us out a little this year by putting on a host of sales and discount days to help reduce the Christmas spend before we even get to Black Friday.

We've put together a list of ten of the best festive sales and whether you looking for books or electricals, clothes or toiletries, there's something here for everyone to be happy with on Christmas morning.

John Lewis

The department store is offering special discounts on a number of their popular ranges including clothing, technology and household appliances. Head to the 'Special Offers' section of the website to find out what you could be saving money on. Some of the best deals include £50 savings on winter coats, a £500 reduction on a designer armchair and £150 savings on a coffee machine.

The electrical retailer is offering a host of Christmas Specials, giving you the chance to stock up on Christmas gifts without having to break the bank. Customers can save up to £150 on selected laptops, get 10% off a brand new TV or save as much as £200 on large kitchen appliances including washing machines and fridges.


ASOS

The popular online fashion retailer has plenty of offers and sales throughout the year and Christmas is no exception. If you're a student you're in luck because you're entitled to 10% off orders all year around, if not don't panic because the ASOS Outlet section can help you out. With up to 70% off some of the best stock including dresses, accessories and shoes, now is the time to stock up on presents or re-write your Christmas list!
