Second 'UFO' crashes into Spanish field

Residents in a Spanish town are in shock after two unidentified objects have fallen from the skies in the past week.

The village of Murcia, approximately 50 miles from Alicante, has been left in confusion after a second large black object landed in the area.

The initial discovery was made last Tuesday by a two goat farming brothers, Francisco and Juan Espin del Amo, who were certain it must have fallen from the sky.

The origin of the orb has since been identified. After the 44 lb three-foot wide round object was inspected by officials it was determined to be a component from a space-related device, such as a fuel tank from a rocket.

The extremely durable black covering contributed to this theory initially as some speculated this was needed for the object to survive extreme events, such as an explosion or the impact of coming back to Earth.

When the first orb arrived last week, authorities were called to the scene and arrived in hazmat suits to inspect the object.

According to Euro Weekly News, the Civil Guard tested the object for nuclear, radiological, bacterial and chemical threats.

El Pais have reported that the object showed higher than normal levels of alpha, beta and gamma emissions.

The country's civil guard has since released a statement disputing theories about aliens and UFOs and confirmed that it was only space rubbish.

The site also reported that the del Amo family have also made their own investigations and a cousin said: "These objects are made of a material that is so resistant it survives intact even after reentering the earth's atmosphere."

Locals were left perplexed yesterday when another one of the unidentified objects hit the earth in nearby Villavieja.

The area has been closed off and the object is being looked after by the Civil Guard, the Mirror reports.
