$2m dollar bra revealed ahead of Victoria's Secret show

Model Lily Aldridge unveiled the latest Victoria's Secret Fantasy bra on Monday ahead of it's debut on the catwalk.

The Fantasy bra is a mainstay of the lingerie company's famous fashion show and in the past the item has been worth as much as $12.5m. This year, the set is slightly on the cheaper side at a price tag of $2 million.

Other famous names to have worn the iconic bra over the years include Adriana Lima, Miranda Kerr and Gisele Bundchen.

Aldridge, who will model the bra on the runway on 8 December joked: "I don't know who would wear this, but everyone should have one! I mean, I would just wear it watching TV on a casual night in with my husband!"

The 18-carat gold bra was custom made for the model and is adorned with 6,500 gem stones including diamonds, blue topaz, yellow sapphires and pink quartz.

So, it's no surprise the pricey piece of lingerie is kept under the watchful eye of a security guard at all times.

Aldridge said: "When you're wearing the bra, security is close by and he's not going to let anything happen to that bra!"

Speaking of wearing the bra, Lily said: "I'm not scared, I'm super excited and I'm anxious to just get on the runway and wear it and be in that moment."

She added: "Some of the girls who have worn it in the past are just like, 'Enjoy every moment of it.' It's such a special experience and I'm really excited."

This year the model will be joined on the catwalk by a host of famous faces including popular models, Gigi Hadid and ​Candice Swanepoel while singers Rihanna and Selena Gomez are reported to be performing.
