Reports show speeding is still biggest motoring offence

The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) have released figures which show that, over the past decade, speeding is still the biggest motoring-related offence where the defendant is found guilty in court.

In fact, the numbers of those found guilty have risen dramatically in the past 12 months – from 115,935 to 148,426, representing an increase of 28%, the highest number since 2005.
