Firefighters rescue cow stuck in swimming pool in Cheshire
A cow had to be rescued from a swimming pool in Cheshire when it stepped onto the protective covering and fell in.
The Cheshire Fire and Rescue service were called to a report of a cow stuck in water on Sunday.

A spokesman said the crews began the rescue by pumping water out of the pol using a portable pump.
The farmer used machinery to build steps out of large hay bales as the animal rescue team got into the remaining 0.5 metres of water to help the animal back onto dry land.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue posted pictures on Facebook of the incident.

A number of Facebook users commented on the pics, with one noticing that the pool wasn't looking its best, writing: "Jesus who keeps a pool in that bad of a condition. Surprised the poor moo moo didn't get the plague."
Another simply joked: "Mooooooove."
