Confusion reigns amongst Volkswagen dealers

Volkswagen dealers across the country awoke Monday to the news that many of the German carmakers models featured software that altered the vehicles pollutants in order to pass emissions testing.

At first, it seemed that the problems were confined to vehicles sold across the pond, where the permitted amount of pollutants is much lower that here. It has now emerged that the problem could be closer to home, and with Volkswagen expected to release a statement later on today, AOL cars reached out to dealers UK-wide and found, un-surprisingly, a resounding sense of confusion.
