Researchers plan to dazzle self-driving cars

The prospect of driverless vehicles operating effectively in the near future has taken a substantial blow after a security researcher has found a serious flaw in the way they would operate.

Security researcher Jonathan Petit, a member of the firm Security Innovation, is due to present a paper on how to exploit driverless cars through the use of a low-powered laser.
