Tila Tequila removed from Celebrity Big Brother due to 'unacceptable' views

Glamour model Tila Tequila has been removed from the Celebrity Big Brother house after posting "totally unacceptable" views on social media, Channel 5 said.

The broadcaster said it was unaware of the "views and attitudes Tila had expressed" before entering the house on Thursday and her continued involvement in the show was "untenable".

More than 500 people signed a petition calling for her removal after the US TV personality allegedly posted a series of anti-Semitic remarks online.
