Time management can be tough, especially when you're trying to balance work with a family and a social life. But, like most things these days - there's an app for that.

Well actually there's more than one, there are numerous apps out there trying to help you achieve the perfect work-life balance.

Apps like Rescue Time, Toggle and A-Tracker are all popular and used by thousands of people trying to stay on time and on schedule.

Now some people are wondering whether a version for the office is next.

General Electric started using a new smartphone app last year to give a small selection of employees quick feedback. By next year the program will be introduced to all employees at the company.

With a lot of people already complaining that they can't unplug from work - is this really a good idea?

According to a poll by Workplace Options, 59% of people are working on their mobile phones after they leave the office with research showing that this can have an impact on pyschological and physiological health.
