LeAnn Rimes sets off plane fire alarm after spraying dry shampoo

LeAnn Rimes was left a little red-faced after accidentally setting of a plane's fire alarm - after spraying dry shampoo in the bathroom.

The star was left slightly embarrassed after freshening up in the loos led to a alarm bells going off, reports the Mirror.

She shared the incident on Twitter, and managed to see the funny side, writing: "Leave it up to me to set off the fire alarm in the airplane bathroom w/ @theDrybar dry shampoo #purecomedy #firsttimeforeverything."

According to the Daily Mail, LeAnn spoke to photographers about the incident at LAX airport on Friday. She said there were no repercussions, explaining: "Nothing. Thank God. I put my head out and said 'It's nothing'."

She added: "It was pretty funny actually."

Fellow singer Barbra Streisand also endured an embarrassing incident on a plane last week when her beloved dog Samantha bit a flight attendant, leaving her needing stitches to her hand.

Streisand was flying from New York to Washington to lobby for the Women's Heart Alliance when the incident occurred.

TMZreports the bite was so bad the wound on her hand needed stitches.
