THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW CLOSED

We've teamed up with Drayton Manor Theme Park to offer one lucky AOL Travel reader the chance to win a Mother's Day package of a family pass for four people to the park, as well as an overnight stay at the four-star Drayton Manor Hotel and a carvery in the restaurant*.

The Staffordshire-based attraction welcomes families looking for a day of fun and excitement at Europe's only Thomas Land™. You can experience the magical island of Sodor and get up close and personal with your favourite characters from the ever popular Thomas & Friends™ series.

Thomas Land boasts a whole host of rides and attractions to keep the little ones occupied, including Winston's Whistle-Stop Tour, which takes passengers on a guided monorail trip, giving a not-to-be missed bird's eye view. Children can also drop and bounce on Cranky the Crane Drop Tower, take a seat on the Troublesome Trucks Coaster, and experience Diesel's Locomotion Mayhem, where passengers are taken on a journey of near misses.

Easter 2015 will see the unveiling of the brand new extension to Thomas Land, which will be 40 per cent bigger and with the park celebrating its 65th anniversary, the 2015 season promises to be a spectacular one.

If you are looking to take a short break from the non-stop excitement of Thomas Land then head over to the Parklands restaurant at the Drayton Manor Hotel and enjoy a tasty carvery at lunchtime. You can then kick-start your afternoon with a visit to the 15-acre zoo, which is home to over 100 species of animals from across the world, ranging from a mob of meerkats to a pair of endangered black leopards and much more.

At the end of your exciting day, the onsite Drayton Manor Hotel is the ideal place to retire as a family, with its 150 rooms, 15 of which are Thomas & Friends themed.
