National Geographic Traveller Photography Competition 2015



The finalists of the 2015 National Geographic Travel Photography Competition have just been announced.

National Geographic Traveller launched its annual photo competition last September, sponsored by theprintspace, Viking River Cruises, Foto Ruta and Tatra Photography.

Winner of the Animal category is this image above, Bleaker Island, taken in the Falklands, by Barry Robertson.

Chris Miller photographed Son Doong Cave, located deep in the Vietnamese jungle, which is the world’s biggest cave and was only explored for the first time in 2009. It is a finalist this years National Geographic Traveller Photography contest. The grand-prize winner will be announced at the Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show on 14 February, and for the first time ever, the shortlisted entries are available to buy through a unique collaboration with theprintspace at art.tt/8vs.

The grand prize winner will be announced at the Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show on 14 February.

Sponsored by Tatra Photography, the prize is a wildlife photography tour for two in the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.

All six category winners have won a year's subscription to National Geographic Traveller and a place each on Foto Ruta London's flagship photography excursion Foto Ruta Clue.

The shortlisted entries are available to buy through a unique collaboration with theprintspace.

The winning photos can also be seen in a free photography supplement with the April 2015 issue of National Geographic Traveller (UK).
