A fairytale hotel that looks like it jumped straight out of a Disney movie has been unveiled in Dalian in northeast China.

The Castle Hotel sits on top of Lotus Mountain, which overlooks the Xinghai Bay and the Yellow Sea. It looks fit for a princess with stone turrets, an amazing marble lobby and perfectly manicured gardens.

The property is managed by Starwood Hotels and Resorts and is part of its Luxury Collection.

It follows, then, that it has lots of luxury features. It boasts the 2,000sqm Kaiser Spa, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, multiple restaurants, and even a microbrewery, according to China Daily.

There are 292 opulent rooms, with 29 luxurious suites. While you can stay at the hotel from as little as £95 per night, the Presidential Suite (pictured above) will set you back a hefty £12,698 a night.

According to the Daily Mail, there a three dining choices, with Cantonese cuisine and Dalian seafood at Zhen Bao, an "all-day epicurean experience" at Collections restaurant, and Bavarian-style bites at The Royal Cellar, which is also home to the micro-brewery.

There are also two lounge areas, The Lobby Lounge, where you ca grab a British-inspired afternoon tea, and the Aristocrat Lounge, the perfect spot for wines and cigars.

Dalian is sometimes called the Pearl of Northern China, and is a popular tourist destination for tourists from Northern China and Asia.

According to Forbes, it enjoys temperate coastal weather and is a trading and financial centre in northeastern Asia, gaining the reputation as the Hong Kong of Northern China.

It has wonderful scenery and offers a mix of European, Russian, Japanese and traditional Chinese architecture.
