Two window cleaners lives were put in serious danger when a platform on a 820 feet skyscraper tilted to a 45 degree angle.

The workers were on Vienna's DC Tower 1's 48th floor, which is 470 ft high, when the platform slanted significantly, leaving one of the workers clinging on for dear life, reports the Metro.

The pair were finally rescued from Austria's tallest building as a crowd gathered below, watching in horror.

Around 30 firefighters secured the cradle with extra cables to prevent it from slipping further in strong winds, reports the Telegraph.

Both men escaped the terrifying ordeal without any injuries.

One of them was treated for shock.
